Christopher Brooks is signed to major Australian labels, Open Records and Bassic Records. His DJ sets bind the grounds of deep, minimal and progressive house and techno, always responding to the environment and moment. His track, “Night Hawk”, released on Open Records’ Expansion Pack II, is a summation of his sound. Christopher’s first EP ‘Sweet Madness’ received support from some of the world’s top producers, including Hernan Cattaneo.

The past two years Christopher has been traveling up and down the east coast of Australia tearing through clubs and festivals with his distinctive techno sound, pleasing the ears and souls at Elements Festival, Earth Frequency Festival, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Bohemian Beatfreaks, Missing Piece Festival, SASH, Sub Rosa, My Aeon, Breakfast Club, Bush Techno, Camp Paprika, Melt and more. He’s played support DJ slots for internationals, such as Robert Babicz, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Henry Saiz, Danny Howells, Marc Marzenit, Max Cooper and Claude VonStroke, just to name a few… as well as top Australian artists such as, Doppel, Thankyou City, Taya, Fabrication, Tom Baker, Biomass and many more.

Christopher’s interest and love of sound led him to a Bachelor of Music Technology degree at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, where he developed advanced skills in sound engineering, sound design and music composition. In addition to producing his own music, playing live and DJing, Christopher also runs a freelance sound engineering and mix down business for music producers and online media.
